She said yes but only certain appetizers. I asked if we could order certain appetizers and not have that consider as part of the four at a time rule. Our server Stephanie was on par with the way we asked questions about ordering. ![]() You can order up to four proteins at a time. There are 33 AYCE options on the lunch menu (including fried & hot appetizers). The $16.99 lunch special is available Mon-Fri from 11:30a-3:00p. I believe it’s matcha salt, salt/pepper, and sweet soy you see above. Banchan, utensils, and salts/sauce were already on the table waiting for us. ![]() We were able to get a nice booth by a window up front. The restaurant is much larger than it appears from the outside. We were surprised to see tables already occupied by customers. The restaurant opens at 11:30a and does not take reservations. We ate quite a bit that day so get ready for a lot of AYCE photos taken that day at Gen Korean BBQ House in Mira Mesa. I didn’t realize how much two girls can consume until editing this post. There was plenty of parking the weekday we visited for their $16.99 weekday AYCE lunch special. The restaurant is right next to Barnes & Nobel. They’re located in the strip mall that houses Regal movie theatre, Islands, Ross, and more. The build out seemed to take time (aka forever) for this AYCE Korean BBQ house. Gen Korean BBQ House recently opened in San Diego. ![]()
